A few things to consider before completing the form:

  • We ask that all horses be up and ready with relatively clean, dry legs and picked out feet before our arrival. (See Respective Responsibilities below for more details.)

  • We use a grinder for all trims and expect your horse to become accepting of it over time with proper support and training. (See Respective Responsibilities below for more details.)

  • We do not offer traditional metal shoeing as we favor composites for our specialty in rehabilitation and lameness cases. Composites are not ideal for every horse and we are happy to provide referrals to other trusted local farriers upon request.

  • We do not currently have the ability to accept haul-ins to our location however, we are hoping to have our Rehabilitation Center up and running by mid to late 2024. At that time we will be able to accommodate haul-ins and layups.

  • Out of state travel (including Illinois) is very limited at this time.
